Announcing CIVITAS Available for Use as per the Vermont Golf Course Permit

In September 2009, Civitas earned it's way onto the pre-screened list for use in Vermont area as per the Vermont Golf Course Permit Program which dictates pesticide usage.

"This is a great depiction of how CIVITAS is changing the game," says Reinhold Drygala, the Lawncare Market Manager. "Because CIVITAS is not a traditional chemical fungicide, we are able to make impacts in places like Vermont where there are pre-screened lists that are intended to protect the environment."

The pre-screened list is "a list of pesticides which due to their relative immobility and limited persistence (as measured by parameters such as, but not restricted to solubility, KOC and half-life) are unlikely, under normal conditions and acceptable use, to leave established turf grass and enter surface and/or ground water."

CIVITAS is the only fungicide treatment designed specifically for the golf industry based on a proprietary mode of action called Induced Systemic Resistance (ISR) - CIVITAS works by turning on the natural defenses of the plant to fend off fungus attack.

Here's what it means to you: No resistance issues; enhances the plant's natural defenses. Spraying can be done at any time; provides maximum flexibility. No special handling or equipment; Just load and go.
